Valkenburg estate is easily accessible from the highway A50, A30 and A12, exit "Ede-Wageningen". The railway station Ede-Wageningen is only about 4 kilometers away, at this location you can also rent bikes.
On the map below you'll find our holiday house "de Ekster" in the middle. The area right of the estate is called "de Ginkelse hei" which stretches out to the Hoge Veluwe National Park.
The city of Ede you find left on the map with all possible facilities within five to ten minutes traveling.
There are also many possibilities for day trips to surrounding villages like Bennekom, with an old center, many shops and little cozy restaurants.
The Valkenburg estate is located in the Hoekelum forest between the village of Bennekom and the city of Ede. The estate is surrounded by both the park of the Hoekelum Castle and nature reserve 'De Sysselt'. Both areas have a rich history and plenty of space for cyclists and walkers.
